Hi! Let me introduce myself.
I worried about my weight since I was 8 years old. I read all I could about exercise, nutrition, how to lose weight, and even made it my career.
Fast forward to my injury in 2008: I had a very difficult pregnancy and it caused serious injury to my pelvis and lower spine.

Turning to food for comfort caused me to gain 90#.
I had to find a way to get my weight under control or I was going to lose more physical function than I already had.

AdaptWell Nutrition and Fitness was created to help other wheelchair users find ways to feel strong, improve physical fitness, and keep as much independence as possible.
